Lucille Winkler Voight collection [graphic], ca. 1897.

The collection consists of interior photographs of the Frederick Fahnley home at 350 North Meridian Street, portraits of the Fahnley family, and a note about an oral history interview with Mrs. Bowman Elder of Pike Township concerning the preservation of two fireplace mantels from the Fahnley home. The home was razed to make way for the Indianapolis Athletic Club. It was designed by Francis Costigan in approximately 1860.

Lucille Winkler Voight was a descendant of Frederick Fahnley. Mr. Fahnley was a German immigrant and was president of the Fahnley & McCrea Millinery Company. He was also director of the Merchants' National Bank and the Indiana Trust Company, a member of the Board of Trade and the Commercial Club, and one of the organizers of the Columbia Club.
